Some born into this world have to learn and choose to be happy everyday while others are born hardwired to be happy no matter what--that's our little J!
One thing little J LOVES to do is dance--anytime, any place, with or without music! I cannot attribute it to watching "So You Think You Can Dance" (although the boys and I have been following that show this summer) or to a talent that either big J or I possess and therefore have passed onto our children, no, it's just a natural instinct of little J's. Ever since he was a baby he has done what we call the "happy dance." As a baby he would be in your arms, look at you with a big grin, start to giggle and then begin to bob up and down as his little legs kicked in the air. Now that he is older he continues to do the "happy dance," only he will ask someone to pick him up by putting his arms in the air and then say, "Daz!, Daz!" until someone (9 out of 10 times his mama) obliges.
Last month at uncle D and aunt M's wedding (little J was one of the ring bearer's along with M and cousin E...thus the teeny-tiny tux) little J practically glued his feet to the dance floor during the reception and danced with any willing female--his mama, the bride, aunt C, cousin D--ALL night long! Today while M was at school, mama could not resist his pleas any longer(well, you look into those big brown eyes and try saying no...yes, he does have mama wrapped around his little finger!) and turned on Radio Disney. We had so much fun dancing around our family room. One of little J and M's favorite tunes recently, thanks to RD, is a "one-hit-wonder" by Carl Douglas: Kung Fu Fighting. It's a catchy tune that is fun to dance to! Thank you little J for daily infecting us with your happiness! Mama will be your dance partner anytime--I love dancing the day away with you!
