Soccer Time!

Kicks 4 Kids
We "kicked" off the month of December by cheering on Lil' J at the last of his soccer classes. Through the fall while M continued with karate and tried out t-ball, Lil' J had a blast kicking around a soccer ball with a bunch of other 2 & 3 year olds. Lil' J loved his class and was always very excited to be there and participate, even when the other kids in the class weren't. As we watched Lil' J dribble the ball through a line of cones and down the field (or the gym floor on occasion) away from the coaches and into the goal, it became pretty clear to us that he's rather coordinated for a little guy!

On the last day of class, the coaches had a little award ceremony for all the kids. Each child was called up to the front of the goal and presented with a medal and a certificate. It was cute to watch each child's response to being in the spot light--some were shy and had a difficult time going up without mom or dad, others were happy to go up and get their award. As usual, our Lil' J was hammin' it up the whole time!

Lil' J really liked having a class of his own to go to, guess it's time to sign him up for something new!

WOW - He sure is growing up fast! I remember sitting in your living room the night you were going to the hospital to have him... contractions and all, I think it was one of our fun little home teaching visits (though it was probably not the best night, since you were in labor) What a cutie!

You what I'm blown away by? How much Lil' J looks like you while M looks like Jared. Truly amazing.
