Baby A and I did some Christmas shopping while the boys went with J-rod to a basketball game: BYU vs. ASU. Li'l J got carsick on the way to the game (due to sitting for quite a while in a traffic jam resulting from a bad accident on the freeway) so J-rod figured going to the game wasn't meant to be and was ready to turn around and come home. He decided that first he would get over to a store and get some supplies to clean up our little guy. After getting Li'l J cleaned up, into a new outfit, and a new car seat (we needed to buy a new one anyway to replace the one stolen when our truck had been stolen) J-rod decided to head over to the stadium and see if they could still get into the game. As it turned out not only were they able to get into the game, but they were able to do so for free--score! For as much fun as they had at the game, it turned out that this was a tough day to be a Cougar...not only did the basketball team lose to ASU by one point in a buzzer-beater, but the football team lost to the U of A in the Vegas Bowl--grr!!
#32 is one of the Young Men J-rod used to work with in our stake back in NY, so it was fun for J-rod to watch him play!
Both boys enjoyed going to the game with their dad!
Oh the agony of defeat!
Li'l J is proud to be 3!
