With the addition of the diving board, our pool is finally and officially complete! In an effort to extend the life of our swim season this year, we purchased a solar blanket for our pool--basically a really big and expensive industrial strength sheet of bubble wrap--that works by soaking up the sun's rays and then trapping the warmth in under the blanket. Thanks to the bubble wrap, mission accomplished--depending on the day we have managed to keep the water temp between 81 and 84 degrees! This has come in handy now that we have a diving board we want to use. : ) We've all enjoyed using the board, well, almost everyone...Lil' J has enjoyed cheering everyone else on as they jump or dive off of it. Here are some of Z's favorite shots of M as he tries it out for his first time. One of his favorite things to do when jumping off the board is to shout at the top of his little lungs, "Cannon ball!!"

Love the action shots. That looks like so much fun.
Beautiful Pictures...you should frame them! Cute for a scrap book page as well!
I am sooooooooooo jealous. I think we'll just have to come live with you. Can we trade rent for swimming lessons? I'll teach the kids.
