Under the weather: for ten days, M had a fever that just kept coming back. By his second visit to the doctor, the cause was discovered and addressed. Ahh, relief! On his last day home from school, (feeling better thanks to the right meds) he finally felt up to doing something more than just sleeping or watching a movie--yay M!
Prep: lesson, babysitting group, Primary activity, Sacrament meeting talk--that's what Big J and Z were up to when we weren't dosing up M or entertaining Li'l J to keep him from a serious case of "cabin fever." No doubt about it, we've definitely kept busy this week: Big J hosted a Teacher Improvement meeting for all the teachers in our ward; Friday night was our turn to host the kids in our babysitting group while their parents went out on dates--LOVE this group!!! Saturday morning was our fun Primary activity--in preparation for the upcoming world-wide General Conference, we helped the children become familiar with the General Authorities of the Church. Can you guess what treat the kids enjoyed afterward? Ice cream, of course! We ate in honor of President Thomas S. Monson...ice cream is his favorite treat! : ) Z had a big hand in the pre-activity preparations, so after checking off the activity as "done", Z worked on writing her talk for Sacrament meeting today.

Adventures in...living
It's always one adventure after another for our little family! Here's an update on our most recent adventures--
Did you ask...
Are we done yet? Not quite.
Travel: tomorrow we head out of town to take a break, Spring Break to be exact! We're packing up that trusty ol' truck for yet another road-trip. Not surprised are you? San Diego here we come! We're taking the boys to all the fun SD spots: the SD Zoo, Sea World, Lego Land, the beach, Old Town SD, and we might just check out the cool carrier museum too. We'll round off the week with a drive up to L.A. to spend Easter with G'ma and G'pa C and Aunt A. Boy, are we...
Excited!

:) I'm M is feeling better. But who would want to go to school when he has a way kool mom to take care of him at home. Have fun in SD. I sure wish I was there too.
I'm glad to hear everyone is feeling well. Hope you have a great trip! Sounds like you could use a getaway after last week!
Sounds like fun... I am envious that you live so close to so many different family members! Lucky you ~
No kidding? We had to speak in church today! (Easter) We did a timeline starting at the passover to when he comes again. Chelsie and Nathan started us off by playing the song A Poor Wayfering Man of Grief.
