Escape, Day 2

We spend a good portion of the second day of our escape, on a safari jeep tour of the amazing red rock country along an old stage coach trail. That was one BUMPY ride! We were in a cushy jeep with big rubber tires and a nice suspension system and we still got our tummies and brains jiggled around pretty good. I cannot imagine what it would have been like to ride that road in a stage coach or covered wagon as so many in the past had to often do...yikes!

Despite the rough road, we were very lucky that no one got car sick as a couple in our family are so apt to do. : ) Even Baby A (safely strapped into her car seat) handled it pretty well...she slept through the entire trip up the road and then giggled and chattered to us the entire way back. We all enjoyed the beautiful scenery and the fun facts our great tour guide shared with us.
