The first day of our escape we enjoyed each others company at the resort. M, Li'l J and I took a craft class where we all painted some shadowboxes and magnets to take home as souvenirs of our stay in red rock country. After the crafts we all swam in the pool before playing some games in the clubhouse. We took a break from games to have some yummy treats--the activities staff sponored a YUMMY pie social to help the resort guests get to know one another. Once we had our fill of fun in the clubhouse, we headed back to our suite where we made up some dinner, watched a movie together, and played some favorite board games as a family before bedtime.
M painted a colorful set of cowboy boots for his magnet and Li'l J painted a beautiful black horse magnet.
