We interrupt our regularly scheduled programming--updating our blog--to share something new with you.
In the ten and a half years of our marriage, J-rod and I have experienced many an adventure: we have increased our count by 3, lived in four states, rented six apartments, built one house, owned two homes, owned four cars, moved cross-country twice, and changed job descriptions a few times...and that's just the BIG stuff! It's pretty clear to any that know us that we keep busy, always on the go.
Recently Heavenly Father saw fit for us to 'take things up a notch' and today our little family embarked on a new adventure. An adventure filled with opportunities to grow and we get to know, love, and serve those around us. This afternoon during our ward's sacrament meeting, my sweetheart, 'a quiet man with a BIG heart' (as described by a dear friend), was sustained and set-apart as the new bishop of our ward!
J-rod, I am excited for you and our ward (a little overwhelmed too!), LOVE you and your BIG heart dearly, and know that you will do an amazing job!
