December 2011: Ward Christmas Dinner

The first Saturday in December our ward held it's annual Christmas Party. This year we had a dinner and talent show and it was SO fun! Many members of our ward took part in sharing their varied talents.

1. We had our own Magician and his helpful assistant.
2. The 12 Days After Christmas, a parody.
3. The E Sisters sing Jingle Bells.
4. A father and daughter duo tell jokes.

Our kids share their talents too:
Li'l J played a medley of...
M played...
C-sta colored.

The Young Men and Young Women preformed a skit to "The Chipmunks Song".  The Bishopric performed a skit to "Linus and Lucy".  Bishop J-rod played the song on the piano.

Brother B had the audience in stitches with his ventriloquy act (he even poked a little fun at Bishop J-rod).  Hee, hee, hee!

Li'l J participated with the Primary children in reading a poem that spelled out "Merry Christmas."
The last performance of the evening was the telling of the Nativity story.

C-sta and her good friend B were very happy to see each other that night!

When we got home, the kids and I took some fun pictures together (J-rod was still at the church helping to clean up after the party.  It was a long day for him as he had spent the whole day at the church holding tithing settlement).
