We attended a baptism for a new member in our ward, grab some dinner on the run, and returned home to have cake and open presents for my 30-something birthday.
The YUMMY birthday cake was provided by our good friends D and K H who had brought it by earlier in the day with birthday wishes. K knew that it was going to be a busy day for me (both M and Baby A had a doctor appointment) and J-rod (who worked 'til 6 pm and then met us at the baptism) and that we wouldn't be able to make a cake to celebrate with--thanks D and K, you're the best!

This is what my sweet kids gave me, so that I can make popsicles with them.
And my true love gave me my first, very own PURPLE cell phone. Though we somehow managed to survive the last five years of cell phone ownership sharing just the one phone between us, I LOVE having this new phone! Thanks again sweetheart!
I also got some really nice and thoughtful gifts from J-rod's parents as well as my parents. Thank you to all who remembered me on my birthday with visits, well wishes, calls, emails, gifts, etc!
